NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” will be cashing in on a few big movie premieres in December, with some high-caliber star power available for hosting duties, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Among the hosts the show has lined up: Robert De Niro, Jeff Bridges and Paul Rudd. All three actors have movies coming out during December: De Niro’s “Little Fockers,” Bridges’ “True Grit” and “Tron: Legacy” and Rudd’s “How Did You Know?”

De Niro is scheduled to host the show Dec. 4, Rudd Dec. 11 and Bridges Dec. 18.

Paul McCartney will be the musical guest Dec. 11.

  1. Forgive me for being pessimistic, but if the last episode is any indication, this show has run out of steam. It was plain bad!

  2. The last episode wasnt terrible. But, I really think it has to do with the host. Two weeks ago with Jon Hamm was really good. Jay Pharoah is the best new talent they have on there.
Paul Rudd and DeNiro should be great shows. Not sure about Jeff Daniels.

  3. I wish success to everyone.

  4. It’s not that complicated — fire old man Lorne Michaels, hire ALL of Jon Stewart and Bill Mahr’s writers. “It’s the Writers, Stupid.” The current skits are so BORING.
