The CW’s ‘Life Unexpected’ Will Likely Have a Short Life as Network Decides Against Back Order

The CW drama "LIfe Unexpected" will likely have a short and final season after the network decided against ordering any episodes beyond the program’s original 13-episode order, reports Nellie Andreeva at Deadline.com.

Although the show has been critically praised, it’s the lowest-rated series on The CW this fall and was the only program with a 13-episode order that didn’t receive a back order 10 days ago, the article points out.

At that time, freshman shows "Nikita" and "Hellcats" received back orders, the story says. Nevertheless, the network is waiting until May to make a final decision on the show, although the January season finale may very well be the series finale, it notes.

  1. DUMB…DUMB…& DUMBER. A QUALITY SHOW, A QUALITY CAST, & QUALITY WRITING, ALWAYS LEADS TO NETWORK DISASTER. YOU WOULD THINK THE CW WOULD BE ABLE TO AFFORD LEAVING THE SHOW ON THE AIR. HOW MANY SHOWS DO THEY HAVE…THEY CAN’T EVEN COVER ALL THE NIGHTS OF THE WEEK, BUT THEY’LL AXE ONE OF ITS BETTER QUALITY SHOWS. JUST PLAIN DUMB
