A top syndication executive is leaving CBS Television Distribution, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
It’s Terry Wood.
Wood is currently president of creative affairs and development, overseeing all new program creation and production for the syndicator, the story notes.
According to a statement from CBS TV Distribution, Wood developed and debuted five new series including "Dr. Phil" and "Rachael Ray" that are on air today. "We respect her desire to pursue the next chapter in her career and are quite confident her talents will bring success to whatever that opportunity may be," the statement said.
The article doesn’t say what project Wood will be pursuing next. Her most recent project was "Swift Justice with Nancy Grace," which debuted in the fall, the article adds.
She is expected to leave at the end of the year, the story says
