New Showrunner for ‘Dexter’

There’s a new showrunner coming on board for the sixth season of "Dexter," reports Nellie Andreeva at Deadline.com.

The show’s executive producer Scott Buck will succeed Chip Johannessen, who ran the series last season, the article notes. The fifth season of "Dexter" was the highest-rated season of the drama series so far, with an average of more than 5 million viewers each week for TV and on-demand viewing.

The article says that the feeling was that Buck, who has worked on the show since the second season and had been Johannessen’s second-in-command, was ready to take on the role. Buck has written or co-written the last three season finales, including Sunday’s, the article notes.

  1. I love the way you write and also the theme on your blog. Did you code this yourself or was it done by a professional? I’m very very impressed.
