On a Night of Mostly Reruns, CBS Coasts to Ratings Win While Univision Surges to No. 2

CBS coasted to a Thursday night win in the ratings on the strength of "The Big Bang Theory" and “$#*! My Dad Says,” TVbytheNumbers.com reported. But the big news of the night may have been Univision’s surge, as the Spanish-language broadcaster beat NBC, ABC and Fox in the key 18-49 demo.

CBS wound up with a 2.4 rating for the night in adults 18-49, followed by Univision (1.5), NBC (1.4), ABC (1.4) and Fox (1.3). In total viewers it was CBS with a huge lead with an average of 10.4 million to 5.2 million for Fox, 4.5 million for ABC, 3.8 million for Univision and 3.4 million for NBC.

At 8 p.m. "Big Bang" logged a 4.1 and "$#*! My Dad Says" had a 3.0, both in the 18-49 demographic. CBS faced all reruns in that hour, and the rest of the night was wall-to-wall reruns on CBS, NBC, Fox, ABC and CW.
