Whatever Happened to Oscar Winner Jeremy Irons? He’s Coming Soon to TV

Oscar winner Jeremy Irons, best known for his work in film and theater, is about to resurface on television. He will make a guest appearance on NBC’s "Law & Order: SVU" in 2011, reports the New York Daily News.

Irons will play the director of a rehab clinic specializing in sexual addiction. In a statement, Neal Baer, executive producer, said, "We’re elated to work with an actor of Jeremy’s caliber. He brings depth, intelligence and charisma to all his varied roles, and we couldn’t be luckier to have him guest-star on ‘SVU.’”

Irons, a native of England, won an Academy Award in 1991 for his leading role in “Reversal of Fortune.”
