The consensus “feel-good story of the year,” about homeless man Ted Williams being discovered on the streets and springboarding into a broadcasting career, has hit a speedbump, reports the AP.
According to L.A. police, Williams and his daughter got into a loud argument Monday night at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa. Officer Catherine Massey said while it was a minor incident, the argument was reported to the police and they investigated.
"They were brought in, calmed down, talked to and released," said Massey.
Since being discovered in a YouTube video, the golden-voiced Williams has been hired by the Cleveland Cavaliers NBA organization, as well as being named the voice of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese.
