An actor who is familiar to viewers for his roles on "Alias," "Heroes" and "Felicity," has been cast as the lead in the A&E pilot "Big Mike," reports Deadline.com.
The actor is Greg Grunberg, who will play the title character in the cop drama, a plus-size San Diego cop. Like another TV Mike–from CBS’s "Mike & Molly"–the character struggles with his weight as well as his romantic life.
A&E scored its first success in series drama with last season’s "The Glades."
I would watch Greg Grunberg recite the phonebook. Great casting A&E. And I hear it’s Happy Madison Productions. Greg Grunberg and Adam Sandler? Hello!!! Oh, and the writers wrote my favorite film, There’s Something About Mary. Can’t wait for this one.
