Lifetime has greenlighted two scripted police dramas featuring women, reports Multichannel News.

The series, which have both received orders for 13 episodes, represent the first projects from network president and general manager Nancy Dubuc, the story notes.

The first, called "Against the Wall," stars Rachael Carpani of "The Glades" as a Chicago police detective who decides to join the Internal Affairs division, creating conflict in her family of cops, the article notes.

The second series, titled "Exit 19," stars Ally Walker of "Sons of Anarchy" as a divorced mom and LAPD homicide detective who tries to balance her personal and work lives, the story says.

Both shows will debut later this year, the story adds.
