Former ‘Charlie’s Angels’ Getting No Love From the New Crew

If you’re counting on cameos by the former stars of "Charlie’s Angels" on the new ABC incarnation, you can forget about it, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Two of the original stars, Cheryl Ladd and Jaclyn Smith, told the publication that they have not been asked by the current producers to appear in the show.

Added Smith: “I don’t know [whether I’d be interested]. It would depend on the role. Not sure I would want to repeat myself but it would depend on how they revisited the Angels concept."

As for Ladd, she said, “They haven’t called me yet, either. The chemistry between the girls has to be right."

The new angels in the cast are Minka Kelly, Rachael Taylor and Annie Ilonzeh.

  1. Big mistake not to take advantage of the free publicity a couple of cameos can provide. I won’t likely be a regular watcher of Dallas. But I will be watching when Larry Hagman is on.
