FX says it’s pleased with the second season debut of "Justified," saying that it pulled "very solid" ratings, reports the Los Angeles Times’ Show Tracker blog.

The show was watched by a total of 3.5 million viewers, which the story says is "both good and not-so-good news" for FX after the failure of "Terriers." The season debut represented a 42% increase in total viewers compared with the program’s first season average, but the article notes that the second season rollout declined 17% from the first season’s debut.

The story also points out that "Justified’s" audience is almost two-thirds men, which is noteworthy since usually women are bigger viewers of episodic dramas.

The series focuses on a U.S. marshal in Kentucky.

  1. They’ll find a way to end the best show on TV. My wife and I have waited for the new season, ever since last season ended, and we weren’t disapointed !
