The new Wonder Woman has been picked for the upcoming NBC pilot from David E. Kelley, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The role is going to Adrianne Palicki, who played Tyra Collete in "Friday Night Lights," the story reports.

Palicki will reprise the role made famous by Lynda Carter in the 1970s, but with Wonder Woman now trying to balance her life between being a crime fighter and a successful corporate executive, the story notes.

Palicki’s most recent TV series regular role was on Fox’s "Lone Star," which aired just two episodes last fall.

Kelley wrote the “Wonder Woman” pilot and is also executive producing with Bill D’Elia, the story says.
