Rebranded Cable Channel Gets General Manager

Disney Junior Worldwide has tapped Nancy Kanter as general manager, adding her new role to her current job as senior vice president, original programming, reports B&C.

In the newly created position, Kanter will oversee the newly debuted Disney Junior brand and its future 24-hour channel premiere, the story notes.

Kanter first joined Disney Channel in 2001 as vice president, original programming. As TVWeek previously reported, the rebranded Disney Junior programming block posted big ratings gains in its debut week.
