An Emmy-winning and Golden Globe-winning actor–who was once tried for murder–was involved in a drama over the weekend at a celebrity autograph convention in Burbank, Calif., eventually being kicked out of the event, TMZ.com reported.

Robert Blake, the former child actor and star of “Baretta,” who was acquitted in the murder of his wife in 2005, was escorted out of The Hollywood Show on Sunday after causing a disruption and threatening the show’s organizers, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The trouble apparently began Saturday, when Blake was “being a diva,” according to show organizer Kevin Martin, and complaining that his autograph line was too short. Blake left the show early but returned Sunday and started signing autographs for free in the parking lot.

"I’m giving away free pictures to my fans because yesterday I embarrassed myself by behaving like a fool, so I came back today to be a good guy and give them pictures and give them autographs because they kept me alive for 70 years," he said, according to the THR piece.

Blake later reportedly became unruly and was asked to leave, finally being escorted off the property by security.
