Don Johnson is returning to NBC for the first time since he starred in "Miami Vice" with a starring role in a drama pilot called "A Mann’s World," reports TVLine.com.

Johnson will play Allan Mann, a straight and famous hairdresser in his 50s who is trying to stay sober while dealing with a business focused on the youth culture, the story notes.

The cast of the project also includes Taylor Kinney of "The Vampire Diaries" as a stylist, the article adds.
