Actor David Arquette was rushed to a hospital this afternoon after being in a head-on car collision, but he says he’s fine, TMZ says in two   separate reports.

In saying he was OK, TMZ said Arquette tweeted, "I got into a car accident but I’m fine. Luckily I have tiger’s blood running in my veins. Haha. Thank you for your concern."

In its initial report TMZ wrote, "A witness tells TMZ … David was behind a car that stopped suddenly. David then swerved to the left to avoid hitting the car and went into oncoming traffic. David slammed into a car going in the opposite direction. David was driving a silver Cadillac."

The report did not say on what street in West Hollywod the accident occured.
