A Disney Channel television movie was Friday night’s most-watched scripted show across all television channels, the Los Angeles Times’ Show Tracker blog reported.
The made-for-TV "The Suite Life Movie" drew 5.2 million total viewers, while Fox’s drama "Fringe" was watched by 3.9 million viewers. The night was won by the CBS broadcast of NCAA basketball, which was watched by an average of 8 million viewers.
"Suite Life" also ranks as the year’s top movie in the children’s demographics, the piece adds.
