An ESPN basketball analyst and former NBA player was recently arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, SportsNewser.com reported. The incident involving Jalen Rose happened March 11 in Michigan but was not immediately reported.

Rose, a former NBA star who was also part of the University of Michigan championship team known as the Fab Five, is scheduled to appear in court on April 20.

After Rose’s SUV slid off an icy road, he was approached by the police. Rose reportedly refused a breathalyzer test, but was given a blood test at Henry Ford Hospital.

Rose’s lawyer said of the case, “[We] look forward to working with Michigan authorities and addressing any and all outstanding issues in court and not in the press.”

ESPN commented that it is looking into the incident.
