Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum, ex-politicians who contribute to Fox News, have been suspended for two months to allow the men to decide whether they’re running for the presidency in 2012, reports the AP.

Bret Baier made the announcement on air Wednesday, explaining that Gingrich and Santorum will not be seen on Fox News until May 1, 2011. Fox News contracts with the two will be terminated unless they inform the network by then that they will not be in the presidential race.

The Fox News fate of Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee, two other politicos who work for the network and may be in the presidential race, has yet to be determined.
