Charlie Sheen says he is taking his one-man show on the road, and two dates for “Charlie Sheen Live: My Violent Torpedo of Truth” are already scheduled, People magazine reports.
The first two dates are April 2 in Detroit and April 3 in Chicago, with Ticketmaster advertising both shows. Tickets reportedly will go on sale Saturday.
Some highlights from the show description on the Ticketmaster site, presumably from Sheen himself: “My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not An Option Show is coming for you. I’m going on the road. LIVE. … This IS where you will hear the REAL story from the Warlock. Bring it. I dare you to keep up with me.”
The show is listed as “for mature audiences 18 and over.”
Tickets for the tour will reportedly be priced at $35. The tour was apparently arranged through Live Nation. (Remember Sheen waving a machete from the top of a building a while back? That was the Live Nation building in L.A.)
So, will there be concert merchandise? Count on it. The Hollywood Reporter cites a recent Charlie Sheen interview with the Australian radio network Nova in which the actor indicated he will be merchandising "all this intellectual property–tiger blood, winning, Adonis DNA, all that stuff."
Sheen reportedly later added: "Admit it folks, the whole winning thing, you just feel better when you say it. It’s true, and you have to kind of smile when you say it.”
