The USA Network has named two executives as co-presidents of the cable channel, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

The two are Jeff Wachtel and Chris McCumber, promoted from head of original programming, and chief of marketing and brand strategy, respectively.

According to the story, the appointments were made by Bonnie Hammer, who was promoted to chairman of NBC Universal Cable after the merger with Comcast.

Wachtel has worked at USA for a decade, during which he helped develop shows such as "Psych" and "Covert Affairs," the story notes.

McCumber has served as executive vice president of marketing, digital and brand strategy since late 2007, the story says. He also helped develop the "Characters Welcome" tagline.
