ABC Overhauls Lineup for Fall–Eight New Dramas and Five New Comedies on Tap

ABC has announced that it plans on introducing 13 shows into primetime over the course of the 2011-2012 season.

New comedies include “Apartment 23,” “Last Man Standing,” “Man Up,” “Suburgatory” and “Work It.”

New dramas are “Charlie’s Angels,” “Good Christian Belles,” “Missing,” “Once Upon a Time,” “Pan Am,” “Revenge,” “The River” and “Scandal.”

The network also said it is bringing back “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” “The Bachelor,” “Body of Proof,” “Dancing with the Stars,” “Desperate Housewives,” “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” “Happy Endings,” “Secret Millionaire,” “Shark Tank” and “20/20.”

ABC previously announced the return of “Castle,” “Cougar Town,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “The Middle,” “Modern Family” and “Private Practice.”
