CBS may have a plan in the works to hire the hosts of a cable news morning show. The network is reportedly trying to hire Chris Licht, the executive producer of MSNBC’s "Morning Joe," to oversee "The Early Show," according to the New York Post.

He, in turn, may tap hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski to CBS once their contracts are up next year, the story says.

Reps for MSNBC and CBS had no comment, the piece adds.

  1. Chris Licht is trying to get away from
    Scarborough and Brzezinski.

  2. CBS is not interested.
    No respectable person is interested,
in either Mika Airhead or Joe Blockhead.
