CBS has unveiled the premiere date and other plans for the upcoming 13th season of reality competition “Big Brother,” Entertainment Weekly reported.
The show’s next season premieres Thursday, July 7, with Julie Chen expected back as host. The series will again air three nights per week–Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday–with the Thursday shows including live evictions.
CBS will also debut a new celebrity reality show called "Same Name" this summer, with the premiere set for Sunday, July 24. The show will present celebrities changing places for a week with someone who happens to have the same name as the celebrity.
"Same Name" will be paired with the Sunday episode of "Big Brother" to form a two-hour reality block.
