Another NBC executive is out of a job, and this time it appears to be over emails he allegedly sent to outgoing “CBS Evening News” anchor Katie Couric.
Kevin Goldman abruptly left his job as communications vice president last week after six years at NBC, after executives allegedly found emails from Goldman to Couric, reports the New York Post’s Page Six.
Goldman was apparently sending Couric emails that included information about what was going on in the building, the story says.
Couric’s representative said that Couric doesn’t know anything about his departure from NBC.
Said Goldman: "I enjoy speculation as much as the next guy. NBC and I have had discussions over the last number of weeks about my leaving the network, and I left on Friday," the piece notes.
