Barack Obama will appear on television this Sunday for his first interview following the historic announcement that Osama bin Laden was killed, Entertainment Weekly reported.
CBS confirmed that the president will be interviewed on "60 Minutes" by Steve Kroft. The interview will take place Wednesday for airing May 8.
Obama is expected to field questions for the first time about the U.S. mission that resulted in the killing of the al Qaeda leader.
Obama and the first lady, Michelle Obama, appeared Monday on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” but that interview was taped before the killing of bin Laden.
