After being called a right-wing "talk slut" by MSNBC host Ed Schultz–which earned Schultz a one-week suspension from MSNBC without pay–Fox News analyst Laura Ingraham has accepted Schultz’s apology, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

On her radio show, the conservative firebrand used Elton John’s "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word," intertwined with Schultz’s saying he was sorry, to needle him and have fun with the situation.

After playing the song, Ingraham said her staff was all for discussing the subject, but she was ready to move on. She did invite Schultz to return to the conservative movement, where was before he embraced the left.

"Please come back, lost sheep," she concluded.

Off the air, Ingraham reportedly told her staff, “Stuff is always said about me, right? The more vile the thing that is said about me, the less it affects me. It doesn’t bother me at all.”
