Judge Judy Says She May Have Suffered a Mini-Stroke

Judge Judy said she may have suffered a mini-stroke in March, when she was rushed to the hospital during a show taping, reports New York’s CBSLocal.com.

Judy Sheindlin said she thinks she may have had a transient ischemic attack, or TIA, since earlier that day she experienced double vision and then during the taping began speaking in what she described as slow motion.

Judge Judy, 68, was released from the hospital after a day of tests, and she said she feels fine. But she cautioned that women shouldn’t disregard signs of a possible health problem, the story notes. “It was a very good lesson and something that women–especially women–tend to ignore, little signs of something wrong,” Sheindlin said.
