"The Governator," a cartoon based on former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger that was unveiled in March, is still going forward despite revelations about Schwarzenegger fathering a child outside of his marriage, reports the New York Post.

The series "stands on its own and is going forward as such," said Andy Heyward, the chief executive of A2, the production company making the cartoon. Nevertheless, the cartoon hasn’t been sold yet to a TV channel, the piece notes.

“Spider-Man” creator Stan Lee, who is producing “The Governator,” pointed out before the latest revelations that the cartoon is based on “all the personal elements of Arnold’s life.”
