PBS, ABC Lead Daytime Emmy Nominations–See Complete List of Nominees

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) has announced the nominees for the 38th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards, with PBS and ABC leading the pack. PBS scored a total of 57 nominations, followed closely by ABC with 56.

Among shows, "General Hospital" tops the list with 21 nominations, followed by "The Young and the Restless" with 20. PBS’s "Sesame Street" has 16, while recently canceled ABC soaps "All My Children" and "One Life to Live" notched 13 nominations and 12, respectively.

The awards ceremony will be broadcast from Las Vegas June 19 on CBS, with Wayne Brady hosting.

Game show hosts Alex Trebek and Pat Sajak will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. David McKenzie will executive produce the broadcast.

The Daytime Creative Arts Emmys are slated for June 17 at the Westin Bonaventure in L.A.
