The TV programming executive who helped develop such diverse TV shows as "Mad Men,’ "Weeds,’ "Crash’ and ‘Nurse Jackie,’ will step down once her contract ends this fall, reports our friend Nellie Andreeva at Deadline.com.
Writes Andreeva, "Barbara Wall is stepping down as EVP television for Lionsgate. Wall, who served as head of development and current programming at the indie TV studio, will stay on as a producer until her current contract expires in the fall. The search is underway for her successor."
The article adds that the reason Wall, who has been at Lionsgate for six years, is leaving is "unclear."
