One of the notorious villains from the long run of CBS’s showcase reality competition franchise “Survivor” has been given his own show, reports New York Magazine’s Vulture blog.

Russell Hantz will resurface on A&E, which has greenlighted a house-flipping show called "Flipped," according to the report.

Hantz will buy shows in the Houston area and renovate and resell them for profit, the story says. A&E already airs the house-flipping show "Flip This House."

"Yes, if there’s anyone who can revive Houston’s economy, as Hantz vows to do in the press release, it’s a three-time ‘Survivor’ contestant who once lied about being a victim of Hurricane Katrina, and his apparent devotion to the fiscally and socially questionable practice of real-estate flipping," the story notes.

  1. “Hantz will buy shows in the Houston area …” – methinks you mean “buy houses”
