Why Julianna Margulies Is Hurling the ‘A-Word’ at TV Execs

Julianna Margulies, an Emmy winner for “ER” and the star of the critically acclaimed CBS series "The Good Wife," condemned TV executives for scheduling shows starring women against each other, reports The Huffington Post.

Citing the perceived ratings battle between her show and ABC’s "Body of Proof," which stars Dana Delaney, Margulies said, "I don’t understand executives that pit women against each other–the fact that they brought in ‘Body of Proof,’ Dana Delaney is a friend of mine, and the two of us were just rolling our eyes. It’s like, of course, you finally have two great female leads and you’re going to put us on against each other."

She added: "You’re assholes. You should have put them on against a different show to see where they go, and then in the end, it was split down the middle."

The story notes that "The Good Wife" was moved to Sundays at 9 p.m. by CBS, while "Body of Proof" airs Fridays at 9 p.m.

  1. I thought “Body of Proof” was on Tuesday night @ 10pm, hich is where “The Good Wife” was until CBS announced the fall schedule…

  2. I think the Good Wife is the best show on T.V. The writing is excellent and performances are great.
