Disney-ABC’s "Castle" has been sold in syndication to a cable network  for $1.5 million per episode, with the show’s reruns slated to begin airing on the basic cable network next summer, reports B&C.

The buyer is TNT. The price was less than what TNT paid for its previous off-network syndication acquisition of CBS Television Distribution’s "Hawaii Five-0," which it bought for about $2.5 million an episode, the story notes.

Along with broadcast rights on TNT, the deal includes rights to distribute the show online via Time Warner’s TV Everywhere service.

"Castle’s” season finale averaged 13.3 million viewers and drew a 3.3 rating among adults 18 to 49 years old, the piece adds. The show will be airing its fourth season on ABC and is produced by ABC Studios.
