Former “Two and a Half Men” star Charlie Sheen reportedly has a new sitcom in the works for broadcast TV, with a fast-track target date of January 2012, TMZ.com reports.
Sheen’s representatives are in negotiations and could have a deal by the end of the week, the article notes. Instead of creating a pilot, the project would go straight to series, and while the story doesn’t include details about the show, the piece notes that the comedy is written specifically for Sheen.
It’s hardly a surprise, but the piece adds that Chuck Lorre, the creator of "Two and a Half Men," which fired Sheen earlier this year, is not involved.
