Comedy Central has canceled two shows, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The shows have something in common: They’re both sports-themed.
The cable channel pulled the plug on "SportsShow With Norm Macdonald" and "Onion SportsDome," according to the report.
"SportsShow" debuted in April with more than 1 million viewers, while the Onion show drew 1.5 million people to its January debut. The Onion’s second television show, "Onion News Network" on IFC, has been picked up for a second season.
They both have something else in common – they were lousy.
