After a strong performance for its fourth-season debut this week, a popular docu-series has already received a vote of confidence from its cable channel. TruTV has ordered a fifth season of "Hardcore Pawn," according to The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed blog.

The series, which focuses on one of the world’s largest pawn shops, debuted to an average of 2.1 million viewers for two back-to-back episodes on Tuesday, the piece notes. The first episode was watched by 1.91 million viewers at 9 p.m., with 2.24 million tuning in for the second installment at 9:30 p.m.

The cable channel ordered 13 new episodes for season 5, set to premiere later this year.

  1. This show is the most horrific abortion you will ever see.
Les is the jewiest of all shysters. Paying someone $10 for something you know is worth thousands is predatory. Les hardly ever raises from his first offer to meet in the middle, because he knows the impoverished people selling to him are desperate for cash (to keep the lights on, post a daughter’s bail, visit the casino, or get another fix) and have to take whatever scraps he will toss them. Meanwhile, he’s draped in gold (even his name, fergawdsake) and leather and driving a sports car. He rips off the poor to stay rich multiple times in every episode. Disgusting.
On top of that, his son is the most effeminate pussy you’ll ever see and his daughter is about as unladylike as a chick can get. It’s not surprising this rich douchebag and his stuck-up princess of a wife raised two loser children like these.
