A live-action drama that was more popular than "Glee" and "Gossip Girl" among all children and tweens when it aired five nights a week back in January and February will return for a second season, reports EW.com’s Inside TV blog.
"House of Anubis" has received a second-season order from Nickelodeon, the story says. The show averaged 1.2 million kids between 6 and 11 years old and 1.0 million tweens 9 to 14, the story says.
The program tracks students who solve hidden mysteries in an English boarding school, the piece says. The new season will debut in 2012, with the 45 half-hour episodes to begin production July 21 in England.
