Final Charlie Sheen Episode of ‘Two And a Half Men’ Contains Clue to How the Star May Be Written Out of the Show

In a case of serendipity, the last episode of "Two and a Half Men" with Charlie Sheen may have given creator Chuck Lorre the perfect way to write out the star forever, reports TMZ.com.

In the Feb. 14 episode, Sheen’s character, Charlie Harper, heads to the airport to fly to Paris with Rose (Melanie Lynskey). The episode was not intended to be a cliffhanger or a permanent exit for Charlie … but now it’s going to be seen as exactly that.

One possible scenario would be for the plane to crash en route to Paris, killing off Charlie Harper forever. That would be extreme, and probably not the right tone for a sitcom. More likely, the character will simply decide not to return from France, making Paris his new home.

  1. HURRAY!!! Now we can be done with this drug addict!
Hey CS, Good luck on getting that next job! I hear McDonalds has openings. Better start rehearsing. Here are your lines (and not the “sniffing kind”): “Would you like fries with that order?” and “Can I supersize that order?”

  2. I opt for the latter scenario with Charlie settling in Paris. That sets up another conceivable scenario of his future return to the show. Hey, you have to cover all possibilities and time heals all wounds, right? 😉

  3. There’s a third option-the soap opera option. There’s a plane crash, Charlie Harper survives but needs extensive reconstructive surgery and comes out of the hospital looking like Ashton Kutcher!

  4. Winning!

  5. Wow. Scornful words. Not many people posses the talent, nor will ever accomplish as much as this “drug addict.” I don’t concern myself with the personal pitfalls of the actors and musicians we pay to entertain us. Their perosnal habbits are not what I pay for. It’s the work they do, and he was hilarious. If I only enjoyed the work of perfect people, I wouldn’t be left with a lot of options.
