Fox Business Network hired a Barack Obama impersonator to take part in a "debate" with presidential candidate Gary Johnson, former New Mexico governor, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The debate was featured on "Media Matters for America" with host John Stossel on Thursday night, and included actor Reggie Brown as Obama, the story says.

"Reggie Brown may be an actor, but what he says tonight will be almost entirely the president’s own words," Stossel said, according to the report.

Johnson apparently took the stunt seriously and even knocked his head against the podium in frustration with the fake Obama. The audience also took the seven-minute stunt seriously, applauding and booing some statements.

  1. This stunt was inappropriate. It just adds fuel to the people that say Fox News is anti-Obama and a shill for the Republican Right Wing. You have to wonder what is going through Roger’s mind sometimes.
