Hit TV Land sitcom "Hot in Cleveland," which stars Betty White, opened the second part of its second season this week, attracting an audience about half the size of the audience that turned up for the series premiere last summer, Deadline.com reported.

The Wednesday 10 p.m. telecast drew 2.4 million total viewers, compared with 4.8 million for the series premiere a year earlier. The numbers were also down from the 2.95 million people who tuned in for the season debut in January.

The premiere of "Happily Divorced," Fran Drescher’s new comedy, followed on TV Land and held onto 100% of its lead-in, drawing 2.4 million viewers, the story notes.
