Lindsay Lohan, currently under house arrest in connection with a widely publicized jewelry theft, has provided an explanation for a positive alcohol test that landed her back in court Thursday, TMZ.com reports.

Lohan says the dirty test was caused by a fermented tea she drinks that contains a small amount of alcohol.

“Lohan has been telling friends she’s been drinking her favorite kombucha tea again … the same tea that caused her probation officer to raise a red flag earlier this year because it contains alcohol,” the story reports. “The company behind the drink claims the alcohol content is less than .05%.”

As reported previously, the latest alcohol test ended up being no big deal–but Lohan got scolded in court for her partying and was ordered to tone it down while she’s serving time at home.
