Mother of Schwarzenegger’s Love Child Reveals How the Secret Came Out–Along With Other Twists to the Story

The former housekeeper for Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver has broken her silence about her affair with the former California governor in an interview with Hello Magazine, and the revelations include a surprise twist or two.

Mildred Baena came out of hiding in part to set the record straight, with so many stories circulating in the media. She said the Hello interview would be her first and only one.

Her son with Schwarzenegger, Joseph, now 13, reportedly responded to learning the identity of his father by saying, “Cool!”

Baena said she began to realize who Joseph’s father was as the boy grew older and began to resemble Schwarzenegger. She added that Joseph is looking forward to building a relationship with his dad.

Said Baena: “It was as Joseph grew and I started to see the resemblance that I wondered–but It became more apparent as time went on. I knew Arnold was the father, and maybe as Joseph got older and began to look like him, he [Arnold] wondered. But he never said anything to me.”

Eventually, said Baena, Shriver appeared to be putting the pieces together as she heard whispers about the resemblance between Schwarzenegger and the boy.

“She would say things like, ‘I’m here if you need to talk.’ I sensed something was up. I have so much love and respect for Maria,” Baena said. “Finally, she asked point blank.”

Baena said she fell to her knees and confessed to Shriver. “She was so strong,” Baena said. “She cried with me and told me to get off my knees. We held each other and I told her it wasn’t Arnie’s fault, that it takes two.”

  1. Let’s keep things relevent to the biz. We all know now his “Governator” series is history along with many other supposed projects in the works. I’m only sorry we didn’t get to see how bad his cartoon would have tanked. He and his projects were irrelevant before this even broke. His (she is not without blame) disgusting behavior falls so far below my radar that I will no longer watch, read, or click anything that will extend the life of this pitiful non-story for one more moment. Let him wallow in the bed he made and let us move on. I’ve only posted this in hopes that many more people will concur. ENOUGH!

  2. I’m sorry to disappoint denlink, but the American people have the memory of a fish. Give a fish a couple of minutes to forget, and they will strike the same lure again and again. The American people will be lured to Arnold again. Their memory is slightly longer than a fish, but it’s still very short. No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.
