Oprah to Be Honored at Daytime Emmys

At the upcoming Daytime Emmy Awards presentation, Oprah Winfrey will receive a special honor, reports UPI.com. For "changing the face of daytime television." Winfrey will receive the Crystal Pillar Award, the story reports.

CBS will broadcast the Daytime Emmys live from Las Vegas on Sunday, June 19. at 8 p.m. ET. Wayne Brady will be the host.

Also receiving special awards at the festivities will be Pat Sajak and Alex Trebek. They’ll both be getting the Lifetime Achievement Awards.

  1. Do you want to know what Dean Cain, Erik Estrada and Tatyana Ali were doing in Mexico with Smile Train? There will be a featured spot for Smile Train on the Daytime Emmys this year. It looks like it’s going to be good!
