Bravo is again expanding the "Real Housewives" franchise beyond the U.S. border. A new edition of the show will be set in Canada, with "The Real Housewives of Vancouver" coming to Canada’s Slice Network, reports the Montreal Gazette.

“Real Housewives” editions are already on the air in Greece and Israel, the story notes. This is the first version to be based in Canada.

The Vancouver edition was announced Wednesday at the upfront for Shaw Media in Toronto, with an on-air premiere date set for sometime in 2012.

In the U.S., "Real Housewives" incarnations have been set in Orange County, Atlanta, New York City, New Jersey, Beverly Hills and Washington.
