A man who was a contestant on a high-profile reality show last year has been found not guilty in a case stemming from an alleged attack on his wife, TMZ.com reported.

Genesiac Folkes, a contestant on the 2010 season of NBC’s "The Apprentice," was tried in Collin County, Texas, and accused of trying to strangle his wife in May 2010.

After a jury exonerated Folkes last week, he claimed that he had been railroaded by the legal system from the start because he had never been given a chance to explain his side of the story.
