One of the stars of a popular reality show is being sued for allegedly beating up a family vacationing in the Dominican Republic in February, reports the New York Daily News.
According to the family’s attorney, his clients were at the Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana when Teresa Giudice, a star of Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” allegedly started spraying champagne into the eyes of 53-year-old Yolanda Martinez, the story says. Instead of stopping, Giudice and her family allegedly attacked Martinez and her family, the story says.
The lawsuit accuses Bravo, which was reportedly filming scenes for the show’s third season, of creating "hostility and violence in order to attract viewers," the story says. A spokeswoman for Bravo declined comment.
