Starz ‘Digital Guru’ Takes Key Post With CBS Interactive

A Starz digital bigwig has been drafted by CBS Interactive to take over its online outlets, CBS.com, TV.com and Clicker.com, reports Deadline.com.

Marc DeBevoise was an integral part of the Starz operation, the so-called digital guru, who helped to promote original Starz TV series and the network’s collaboration with Netflix.

In a statement, Jim Lanzone, president of CBS Interactive, said of the appointment, "Marc’s knowledge of the digital entertainment industry, in addition to his experience developing, producing and distributing popular, award-winning content for the Web, make him a great asset to both CBS Interactive and CBS."
