What’s Next for Harry Potter? If Anyone Should Know, It’s J.K. Rowling–And She’s Ready to Spill

The last "Harry Potter" novel has been written and the final film is coming out this summer, but creator J.K. Rowling has something else up her sleeve about the world of wizardry, reports Entertainment Weekly. Next up is a new website called Pottermore.com, the story reports.

The mystery site, where only teases can be found now, will be launched next Thursday, June 23. That’s about all that’s known about the project, except that Scholastic has confirmed to the magazine that Rowling’s announcement will not be a new book.

Considering the millions of fans for all things "Harry Potter," it’s a good guess that the site will be a top Internet destination next week, causing a stir among Google trends and other online metrics.

  1. Interesting. I’m glad to hear she isn’t continuing the series. The story is really over and the books were getting longer and longer (though the seventh book was better than the sixth).
I’d like to see if she can write something else, actually. As an author, I find her style weak, but her ideas very good. I wonder whether she has some fresh ideas to play with.
