ABC Family announced the cancellation of one show along with a number of other programming moves, according to the Los Angeles Times’ Show Tracker blog.
“State of Georgia,” the network’s new comedy starring former “Cosby” kid Raven-Symone, has been canceled after earning poor ratings, the story reports.
The ABC Family comedy stars Raven-Symone as an aspiring actress who moves to New York from the South with the dream of making it big. As previously reported, the show debuted in the summer to so-so ratings, with 1.32 million viewers.
ABC Family renewed "Make It or Break It" and gave a back-order pickup to its new drama "The Lying Game," while also announcing the development of two new drama pilots and two new comedy pilots, the story adds.
